Job summary

Randstad Education is recruiting for a SEMH school in Lingfield. The role runs during term-time with a standard school day 8:40am-3:55pm, starting in September.

Salary is £88-£97 per day, with permanent appointment after a 12-week probationary period. Applicants must be able to provide personal care for pupils aged 5-16 and have or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS. Sponsorship or visa holders will not be considered.

Qualifications

• Must be able to provide personal care for ages 5-16.
• Enhanced DBS on the update service or willing to undergo.
• Access to a car or driving license.

Responsibilities

• Support SEMH students in a school setting.
• Contribute to safeguarding and wellbeing of pupils.

Essentials

• You must be able to do personal care for ages 5-16 years old.

• Transferable skills from care, social care, education, fostering or similar.
• A driving licence and access to a car (due to the campus' remote location).
• A trauma-informed approach to teaching and supporting students with social, emotional and mental health needs.
• Emotional resilience and unwavering care for vulnerable children.
