TeacherActive is working with a welcoming 3-form entry primary school in Ilford seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their specialist provision on a full-time basis.

The role focuses on supporting pupils with SEND and SEMH, building positive relationships, delivering tailored support with teachers and therapists, and helping create a calm, inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications

  • Experience working with children with SEND and/or SEMH needs.
  • A calm, patient and resilient approach.
  • Excellent behaviour management skills.
  • A genuine passion for helping children overcome barriers to learning.
  • The ability to work collaboratively as part of a supportive team.
  • A DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to obtain one).

The Role
