Job summary

Calderdale Metropolitan Borough Council operates a dedicated Transport Services team transporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities in a 16-seater minibus fleet to schools across the borough and beyond.

We are seeking to expand our passenger attendants who will help ensure a high-quality service, assist passengers and contributing to safe, efficient transport operations, including peak-time coverage and readiness for additional hours as required.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with people with special needs is desirable
• Must be prepared to work as part of a team
• Physically and mentally demanding role

Responsibilities

• Assist passengers, assistant drivers, and contribute to a safe and efficient Transport Service.
• Transport children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities in minibuses across schools in the borough and beyond.
