Job summary

24x7 Group is hiring a Driver for Special Needs & Community Transport to provide safe, reliable transport for children and adults with special needs or vulnerabilities. You’ll operate a range of vehicles, including wheelchair-accessible ones, and support school routes and community trips.

No prior experience is required as full training is provided; the role offers stability with guaranteed monthly pay and a pension scheme, plus DBS checks and work-right requirements.

Qualifications

• A valid UK driving licence (car category).
• Ability to drive a variety of vehicles, including people carriers and wheelchair-accessible vehicles (training provided).
• Ability to pass an Enhanced DBS Check (criminal record check).
• Completion of a Group 2 medical assessment to meet licensing standards.
• The right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring passengers travel safely to and from schools or other locations.
• Building professional, friendly relationships with passengers, parents, carers, and school staff.
• Following safety procedures and company guidelines at all times.
• Being available for morning and afternoon shifts on school days.
