Job summary

Teachers UK in Mansfield is seeking a Learning Support Assistant (SEND) to support pupils with ASC, SCLN and other needs on a full-time, term-time basis. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to deliver a broad curriculum and promote independence.

The role requires excellent communication, a willingness to provide personal care where needed, and a commitment to safeguarding. DBS checks and qualifications will be completed as part of recruitment.

• Experience in education or health care setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist pupils with learning activities in a SEND environment.
• Provide feedback to pupils and parents/carers on progress.
• Support personal care and feeding as needed.
• Collaborate with colleagues to create a safe, stimulating learning environment.
• Support pupils’ confidence, resilience and independence for life beyond school.
• Assist teachers in delivering a broad and balanced curriculum.
• Liaise with parents and multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic support.
