Dundee City Council is seeking a dedicated support worker to assist class teachers in delivering high‑quality care and a tailored educational programme for pupils with additional support needs. Based in a school, you will work term time, part time (13–32.5 hours per week) on a temporary basis until 2 July 2027.

You should have PDA ESQ qualification or SCQF level 6+, strong communication skills, and a willingness to train for complex healthcare needs.

Qualificações

• PDA ESQ qualification or equivalent (SCQF level 6 or above).
• Experience of working with children and/or young people with additional support needs is desirable.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.

Responsabilidades

• Assist and support class teachers to provide a high standard of care and an educational programme for children with additional support needs.
• Contribute to meeting physical and developmental requirements, while supporting pupils in challenging situations.
• Work as part of a team to ensure a calm, empathetic and reliable learning environment.
