Job summary

Woodlands School in Harrow is seeking adaptable, energetic and motivated individuals to join our supportive team as a Midday Supervisor. In this vital role you will assist children with learning difficulties during lunch, playtimes and personal care, helping to create a safe, engaging environment from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm, Monday to Friday.

All staff receive specialist training and ongoing support, with opportunities for career progression within the school.

We are a primary maintained special needs school in the Local Authority of Harrow. We cater for 136 pupils ages 4-11 with a wide range of complex and profound learning difficulties. These include severe autism, complex medical conditions, physical and mobility issues, as well as severe developmental delay.

We are looking for adaptable, energetic and motivated people to work at our outstanding special needs school. In this vital role you will be supporting our children with learning difficulties through eating, play times and with their personal care. Working hours are 11.30 am - 1.30 pm Monday through Friday. We welcome applicants from all communities.

All staff are offered specialist training and support. Relevant experience is desirable but the right attitude and work skills are essential. A strong ability to communicate effectively with both children and adults is essential. Staff benefit from established career progression routes and training in education. School runs free weekly exercise and wellbeing sessions for staff.
