Job summary

Empowering Learning Ltd. are recruiting SEND Teaching Assistants to support pupils with Autism and learning difficulties in Enfield. The role is full-time in a secondary setting, with ongoing training provided by the school and Empowering Learning.

Ideal candidates show empathy, resilience and adaptability, with a caring approach to diverse learning needs. DBS is required or applicants must be willing to apply for one, and the school offers development opportunities and potential for a permanent

Empowering Learning are currently recruiting SEND Teaching Assistants to work with pupils with Learning Difficulties in Enfield. We are seeking Teaching Assistant's with a background of supporting children or adults with Complex Needs, Autism or Learning Difficulties.

Ideally you will be able to demonstrate a caring and empathetic nature towards the pupils but also remain resilitant and patient under difficult scenarios. The school would like positive and versatile SEN Teaching Assistants, with a keen interest in supporting pupils of different learning levels.

No experience is required to apply as school offer lots on ongoing training to all staff

Job Responsibilities

• Able to work with groups or 1:1 support within the classroom

Job Requirements

• Adaptable and willing to work with different age groups
• Willing to support children with learning difficulties and disabilities
• Valid DBS registered with the online update service or be prepared to apply for a new DBS
• Available 5 days a week
