Job summary

Empowering Learning Ltd in Enfield is seeking SEND Teaching Assistants to support pupils with Autism and other learning difficulties in a secondary setting. The role covers 1:1 and group support, with a focus on inclusive, patient assistance and building confidence.

No prior experience required as training is provided. A DBS via online update service is preferred, and you must be available five days a week. A rewarding role with competitive pay and ongoing development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Adaptable and willing to work with different age groups.
• Willing to support children with learning difficulties and disabilities.
• Valid DBS registered with the online update service or be prepared to apply for a new DBS.
• Available 5 days a week.

Special Educational Needs and DisabilitiesEmpowering Learning are currently recruiting SEND Teaching Assistants to work with pupils with Learning Difficulties in Enfield. We are seeking Teaching Assistant's with a background of supporting children or adults with Complex Needs, Autism or Learning Difficulties.

Ideally you will be able to demonstrate a caring and empathetic nature towards the pupils but also remain resilitant and patient under difficult scenarios. The school would like positive and versatile SEN Teaching Assistants, with a keen interest in supporting pupils of different learning levels.

No experience is required to apply as school offer lots on ongoing training to all staff
