Are you ready to take on a new challenge with a leading charity making a real difference in brain tumour research?

Brain Tumour Research is a growing charity with a diverse range of exciting and fast-paced campaigns and activities and we are seeking a talented Special Events Manager to further develop the Events offer.

In this role, you will be responsible for planning, organising, and executing events that meet the strategic objectives of the charity. This role requires a creative and strategic thinker with excellent project management skills and a passion for philanthropy. The successful candidate will work closely with internal teams, volunteers, donors, and external partners to ensure the success of each event.

We are seeking someone who has:

  • Creativity and innovation: ability to think outside the box and develop unique event concepts and fundraising ideas
  • Attention to detail: meticulous and thorough in planning and executing events
  • Resilience and adaptability: ability to remain calm and composed under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances
  • Ethical and trustworthy: strong sense of integrity and commitment to ethical fundraising practices

Reports to: Head of Philanthropy and Partnerships

Direct Reports: None

Location: Head Office, Milton Keynes. Flexible, Hybrid Working Model - two fixed days per week (Tuesdays and Wednesdays) working in head office.

Contract: Full Time (35 Hours p/w), Permanent

Benefits: Holiday entitlement, 25 days per annum, excluding UK Public Holidays, increasing by a day for each year served, to a maximum of 30 days. Access to an Employee Assistance Programme, Free eye tests, Free on site parking, Pension with a 3% Employer contribution and an option to join our healthcare scheme and Electric Car Scheme if eligible through salary sacrifice.
