Holiday Inn Cardiff City Centre is seeking a Special Events Coordinator to drive memorable events from enquiry through to confirmed bookings. The role focuses on social events, weddings, and seasonal celebrations, delivering creative, well-thought-out solutions with strong commercial results.

Ideal candidates will enjoy connecting with clients, organising complex plans, and coordinating with multiple hotel teams to ensure flawless delivery.

Qualificações

• Experience in events/co-ordination helpful.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Managing enquiries for social events, weddings, Christmas functions and seasonal events.
• Proactively arranging site visits and hotel show-rounds, in-person or virtual.
• Understanding customer needs and tailoring solutions using the hotel’s products and services.
• Producing clear, detailed and accurate proposals for local event and wedding bookings.
• Ensuring all discussions and agreements are confirmed in writing.
• Upselling creative and value-adding solutions to maximise revenue.
• Building relationships with internal departments and external suppliers for seamless delivery.
