Job summary

Milk Education is recruiting compassionate SEND Teachers to work across Specialist and SEND settings in Bradford from September. The roles offer long-term positions with a pathway to permanent placement and access to specialist SEND CPD and training.

We value tutors who are patient, adaptable and dedicated to inclusive education, with strong communication and teamwork to support pupils with ASC, SLD, complex needs and speech/language needs.

Qualifications

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching pupils with SEND is desirable.
  • Strong understanding of inclusive teaching practices.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning needs.
  • Create a safe, structured and nurturing classroom environment.
  • Develop IEPs and contribute to EHCP outcomes.
  • Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants, therapists and external professionals.
  • Support pupils' communication, independence and life skills.
  • Monitor progress and celebrate individual achievements.
  • Promote positive behaviour using trauma-informed approaches.
  • Build strong relationships with families and multi-disciplinary teams.

SEND Teacher

Location: Bradford
Start: September 2026
Contract: Full-time, long-term (with potential for permanent placement)

Milk Education is recruiting compassionate and dedicated SEND Teachers to work across Specialist and SEND settings in Bradford from September. Our partner schools support pupils with a range of additional needs including Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), Moderate and Severe Learning Difficulties, Complex Needs and Speech & Language needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning needs.
  • Create a safe, structured and nurturing classroom environment.
  • Develop Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and contribute to EHCP outcomes.
  • Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants, therapists and external professionals.
  • Support pupils' communication, independence and life skills.

  • Build strong relationships with families and multi-disciplinary teams.
About You
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
