Job summary

Sofidel UK is seeking an experienced spare parts warehouse supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of the Baglan plant's warehouse. You will manage physical and IT flows, oversee stock records, and ensure safety and tidy, compliant processes.

The role offers a 8:30–16:30, Monday to Friday schedule within a dynamic international group and opportunities for professional growth, training, and benefits including private healthcare, pension contributions, and 25 days of annual leave.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse supervisory role.

Responsibilities

• Manage the physical and IT flows of spare parts in and out of the warehouse.
• Activate coding requests for all spare parts.
• Organise the warehouse in line with corporate guidelines and ensure tidiness.
• Monitor inventory and rectify physical accounting discrepancies.
• Oversee pricing flow of disassembled parts for repair or scrapping.
• Draft relevant reports and apply Group procedures to activities.
• Promote continuous improvement and staff development.

PURPOSE

To manage and monitor the spare parts warehouse in compliance with Group procedures.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensures the correct management of the physical and IT flows of spare parts in and out of the warehouse
• Ensures the activation of the coding request for all spare parts
• Ensures the organisation of the warehouse in compliance with corporate guidelines
• Ensures the monitoring of the warehouse in terms of tidiness and cleanliness
• Continuously monitors inventory by correcting physical/accounting discrepancies
• Ensures management of the flow of prices of disassembled spare parts to be repaired or scrapped
• Ensures the drafting of the relevant reports
• Ensures the application of the Group's procedures to activities
• Promotes continuous improvement activities
• Responsible for collaborators’ professional growth, valorisation and motivation

Requirements

• Experience in warehouse supervisory role (ideally within manufacturing, spare parts environment or similar environment)
• Ability to manage people
• Knowledge of stock control and inventory management systems
• Good organisational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage a team
• Competent in IT systems (e.g. SAP or similar systems desirable)
• Understanding of health & safety requirements within a warehouse setting
