Job summary

Sofidel UK is seeking an experienced Spare Parts Warehouse Supervisor to oversee day-to-day operations at the Baglan plant. You will manage the spare parts inflow and outflow, maintain stock accuracy, and ensure a safe, well-organised warehouse environment.

Key requirements include prior warehouse supervisory experience, people-management skills, and familiarity with stock control systems (SAP preferred). The role offers full-time hours, development opportunities, and a competitive salary

Qualifications

• Experience in a warehouse supervisory role, preferably within manufacturing or spare parts.
• Ability to manage a team and coordinate activities.
• Knowledge of stock control and inventory management systems.
• Good organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Competent in IT systems such as SAP.
• Understanding of health & safety requirements in warehouse settings.

Responsibilities

• Ensure correct management of physical and IT flows of spare parts in and out of the warehouse.
• Activate coding requests for all spare parts.
• Organise the warehouse in line with corporate guidelines.
• Monitor warehouse tidiness and cleanliness.
• Continuously monitor inventory and correct discrepancies.
• Manage pricing flow of disassembled spare parts for repair or scrapping.
• Draft relevant reports.
• Apply Group procedures to activities.
• Promote continuous improvement activities.
• Support collaborators’ growth, motivation and safety culture.

PURPOSE

To manage and monitor the spare parts warehouse in compliance with Group procedures.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensures the correct management of the physical and IT flows of spare parts in and out of the warehouse
• Ensures the activation of the coding request for all spare parts
• Ensures the organisation of the warehouse in compliance with corporate guidelines
• Ensures the monitoring of the warehouse in terms of tidiness and cleanliness
• Continuously monitors inventory by correcting physical/accounting discrepancies
• Ensures management of the flow of prices of disassembled spare parts to be repaired or scrapped
• Ensures the drafting of the relevant reports
• Ensures the application of the Group’s procedures to activities
• Promotes continuous improvement activities
• Responsible for collaborators’ professional growth, valorisation and motivation

Sofidel UK are seeking an experienced and motivated spare parts warehouse supervisor to oversee the day-to-day running of our spare parts warehouse in our busy Baglan plant.

Requirements:

• Experience in warehouse supervisory role (ideally within manufacturing, spare parts environment or similar environment)
• Ability to manage people
• Knowledge of stock control and inventory management systems
• Good organisational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage a team
• Competent in IT systems (e.g. SAP or similar systems desirable)
• Understanding of health & safety requirements within a warehouse setting
