Job summary

Electro Rent UK is seeking a Credit Collector and Billing Specialist (Spanish Speaking) to join our finance team in a hybrid UK role based in Harrow. You’ll focus on cash collection, setting up credit facilities, and producing corporate invoicing while liaising with sales across the EMEA region.

The ideal candidate will be fluent in Spanish with interest in finance, good Excel/Outlook skills, and a proactive approach to resolving billing issues.

Qualifications

• Some experience in billing, accounts receivable, or an administrative role.
• Basic accounting knowledge and an interest in developing your financial skills.
• Fluent Spanish (spoken and written).
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Proactive problem-solving and willingness to learn new systems.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Responsibilities

• Make outgoing calls as well as handle incoming calls to influence customers.
• Manage the sales ledger for the entire EMEA.
• Review and resolve billing queries to maintain customer satisfaction and support cash collection.
• Provide Ledger support to the Billing Specialist Manager, including reconciliations.
• Handle multiple projects and deliver within timelines and to targets.
• Organise and plan a ledger, coordinate with customers and contract cover.
• Liaise with Finance, Customer Care and Sales to close contract extensions.
• Prioritise and schedule an entire customer portfolio.
• Review credits and billing requests to identify root causes and report.
• Investigate historical data for debts and bills.
• Resolve billing issues and ensure accurate invoices.
• Escalate new or recurring issues to Manager and IT as needed.
• Update account status records and reconcile across contracts.
