Job summary

Liberis is seeking a Collections Agent to manage in-house collections across a diverse receivables book. You will engage customers by phone and email, analyze inactivity patterns, and apply efficient, compliant strategies to restore engagement while maintaining high standards of customer experience.

The role prioritises accurate work, integrity, and proactive process improvement, with support from a collaborative team based across the UK, Sweden, Germany and the US.

Qualifications

• Fluency in English and Spanish or Portuguese required.
• Experience in a collections team, preferably SME collections.
• Ability to self-manage and prioritise tasks effectively.
• Strong interpersonal communication for diverse stakeholders.
• High integrity in all actions.
• Proficiency in Excel.

Responsibilities

• Monitor receivables daily to identify underperforming and inactive customers.
• Investigate reasons for inactivity and identify solutions to rehabilitate customers.
• Direct engagement with customers via phone and email to reignite engagement.
• Contact customers reached by sending legal letters when necessary.
• Keep defaulting account volumes within budget by implementing minimising tactics.
• Champion fairness and Liberis behaviours in all actions toward customers.
