IC Resources is seeking a Software Validation Engineer in Edinburgh with a hybrid working model. The role focuses on Python-driven test automation to validate SoC devices and related silicon platforms.

You will collaborate with IC design, embedded software, hardware and systems teams, developing automated test frameworks and regression environments for pre- and post-silicon validation.

Formación

• Strong Python programming experience for test, automation or validation.
• Experience developing automated test frameworks and regression environments.
• Experience working with embedded systems, hardware or complex electronic products.
• Experience working with laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analysers or signal generators.
• Experience collaborating with software, hardware and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Ideally, exposure to SoC validation, FPGA prototyping, DSP, wireless or RF systems.

Responsabilidades

• Validate SoC devices using automated test scripts and frameworks.
• Develop and maintain regression environments for pre- and post-silicon validation.
• Collaborate with IC design, embedded software, hardware and systems teams to resolve issues.
