Job summary

Airbus in Stevenage offers an internship in the Mechanical Analysis department. You will support the analysis function, develop tools, and contribute to space hardware projects during your placement year.

The role targets undergraduates predicted to achieve a 2:1 or above in Mechanical, Aeronautical, or Aerospace Engineering, with aptitude in structural analysis and some programming. Hybrid working options may apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aeronautical or Aerospace Engineering (2:1 or above expected).
• Undergraduates must remain an undergraduate for the entire placement.
• Some programming skills would be a plus.
• Understanding of structural analysis fundamentals.
• Familiarity with mechanical simulation tools and Excel/MATLAB is advantageous.
