Job summary

Airbus Defence and Space Limited in Stevenage is offering a 12-month internship in the Project Management (AIT & Production) team, focusing on the Stevenage Mechanical Platform and MAIT activities for spacecraft assembly. The placement will develop your knowledge of scheduling, risk and cost management, and stakeholder reporting, with guidance and a high degree of responsibility to progress each project.

Qualifications

• Studying towards a degree in Manufacturing, Production Engineering or Project Management.
• Knowledge in Project Management.
• IT literacy surrounding reporting and spreadsheets.
• Interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for ensuring a schedule is issued and updated with the MFT schedule.
• Drive activities to ensure On Time delivery.
• Manage risks or issues impacting milestones.
• Cost management and reporting within the project scope.
• Report to and manage expectations of internal stakeholders.
