Job summary

AIRBUS Defence and Space Limited is offering an internship for undergraduate students at the Satellite AIT and National Programmes team in Stevenage. The role spans 12 months, focusing on hands-on spacecraft assembly, integration and testing on ESA projects and national programmes.

You will visit cleanrooms, work with engineers and technicians, and learn planning routines, quality processes and execution systems to bring spacecraft from concept to launch.

Qualifications

• Open to undergraduates for the whole duration of the placement.
• CV and Cover Letter required outlining motivation and suitability.
• Demonstrated interest in engineering and hands-on projects.

Responsibilities

• Work across projects promoting best practice and leading improvements.
• Regularly visit cleanrooms and interact with engineers and technicians.
• Learn planning routines, quality processes and execution systems for spacecraft builds.
• Gain a real appreciation of how spacecraft are built from concept to launch.
