Job summary

Airbus invites undergraduates to join the Stevenage MAIT team on a Project Manager (AIT & Production) placement. You will support schedule management, cost oversight, and stakeholder reporting as part of the Stevenage Mechanical Platform for spacecraft modules.

The role offers exposure to R&D and manufacturing for Spacecraft products, including OneSat projects, with mentorship and a focus on practical application of theory.

Qualifications

• Undergraduates only for the full duration of the placement.
• Studying towards a degree in Manufacturing, Production Engineering or Project Management.
• IT literacy surrounding reporting and spreadsheets.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a schedule is issued and updated in line with team expectations and the department scheduler.
• Drive activities to ensure On Time delivery.
• Manage risks or issues that could impact milestones and final delivery.
• Accountable for cost management and reporting within project scope.
• Report to and manage expectations of internal stakeholders.
