Job summary

Orbit Fab, based at Harwell Campus in the UK, is seeking an AIT Engineer to contribute to the build, development, and test of refuelling and orbital servicing hardware for future spaceflight missions.

You will perform hands-on testing of electrical, fluidic, and robotic test articles, develop QA and production processes, and collaborate with systems and cross-functional engineers to drive hardware maturity.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in spaceflight hardware testing.
• Experience writing and executing test procedures.
• Strong background in C++, Python, and MATLAB.
• Experience developing EGSE and automated tests.
• Familiarity with ECSS-Q-20C QA procedures and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Own the development of spaceflight hardware.
• Write and execute test procedures for spaceflight hardware in early development, qualification, and acceptance.
• Help develop QA procedures around the build and test of hardware.
• Help develop best practices in a multi-disciplinary lab.
