Job summary

voco Oxford Spires, part of IHG Hotels & Resorts, is seeking a Spa & Leisure Attendant on a 24-hour-per-week contract. The role covers spa, gym and pool maintenance, guest reception and bookings in a stylish Oxford hotel near the river Thames.

You’ll greet guests, answer queries, maintain cleanliness, and support the team with up-to-date product knowledge and prices. Includes benefits and flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Passion for delivering great service and guest-focused.
• Previous guest-facing experience.
• Passion for spa, wellness and fitness.
• Attention to detail and multitasking.
• High standards of cleanliness and pride in-maintaining facilities.
• Flexibility to work varied hours including evenings and weekends.
• Experience handling guest queries and complaints professionally.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of spa, gym and pool facilities, ensuring health and safety standards.
• Meet and greet guests, answer spa and leisure enquiries, take bookings, and conduct gym show-rounds for new members and guests.
• Obtain and record guest details including contact information, medical history and payment details.
• Work with the management team to uphold the highest standard of guest service and present areas as clean and well-stocked.
• Keep treatment and brand knowledge up to date and clearly describe prices and benefits.
