Job summary

Langdale Leisure Limited is seeking a Spa Host and Therapist for Brimstone Spa at Langdale Hotel and Spa in Ambleside. The role combines guest hosting with delivering wellness therapies on occasion, ensuring guests feel relaxed and cared for throughout their visit.

The position is on-site, full-time (39 hours/week) with live-in accommodation possible for exceptional candidates. Salary is £26,677.87 per annum plus treatment bonuses and sales commission, with additional benefits for staff.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Experience in a spa or hospitality environment is advantageous.
• Willingness to provide ad hoc wellness treatments when needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee spa meet and greet area and manage daily bookings.
• Supervise service staff during sessions and briefings.
• Handle cashing up and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
• Advise guests on Spa Deli offerings and serve drinks.
• Coordinate with Restaurant Manager and Head Chef.
• Support staff training and team development.
• Manage spa cleaning programmes and oversee thermal area.
• Provide flexible support across the spa team and deliver therapies ad-hoc.
