Job summary

Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort and Spa in San Antonio, TX is seeking a Spa Manager to guide the strategic direction and financial success of the spa. You will oversee a high-performing team, manage budgeting, and drive revenue growth while delivering Hyatt’s renowned guest experiences and a culture of wellness.

Responsibilities include budgeting, forecasting, marketing collaboration, and maintaining service quality and regulatory compliance in a luxury hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years’ senior management experience in a luxury spa or related hospitality environment.
• Proven ability to lead teams, develop talent, and build a culture of service excellence.
• Strong business acumen with budgeting, forecasting and revenue optimisation experience.
• Proven ability to develop and execute strategic marketing and business development initiatives.
• Excellent leadership, interpersonal, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• A commitment to Hyatt’s values of care, integrity, respect, inclusion, empathy, experimentation and wellbeing.

Responsibilities

• Provide visionary leadership for day-to-day operations and long-term spa success.
• Develop and implement strategic plans to maximise revenue and market share.
• Identify wellness trends and new treatments to stay competitive.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing and PR for campaigns and events.
• Monitor competitor offerings, pricing and industry developments to enhance guest experience.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, cost control and capex planning.
• Drive operational excellence with cleanliness, safety, service quality and compliance.
• Recruit, coach and develop a high-performance team.
• Establish service standards reflecting Hyatt’s care and hospitality.
• Monitor guest feedback and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Align spa operations with the hotel’s strategic goals and luxury positioning.
