Director of Spa: Premium Luxury

Location: Midlands

Salary: A GBP 56,100+

About The Role

As the Director of Spa, you will ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the expanding Health Club facilities, including the Pool and Spa, by achieving the required service standards, maximizing member satisfaction, and increasing sales.

Duties

1. Oversee the management and service standards of Reception, Therapies, Membership, Gym, Pool, Food and Beverage, Promotions, and Changing Rooms.
2. Monitor Membership levels monthly to achieve maximum revenue.
3. Ensure a wide range of therapies are available and appropriate to the image and standards of The Health Club.
4. Supervise department colleagues, ensuring standards and methods of service are maintained as per the Hotel and Department Operations Manuals.
5. Ensure all staff are trained to upsell memberships and other services.
6. Monitor standards related to fitness assessments and provide training when necessary.

Experience and Skills

• Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Director of Spa within a luxury 5-star environment is desirable.
• A strong background in health, fitness, and wellness is essential.
• Excellent command of English.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to connect with all levels within the business, motivating colleagues.
• Outstanding personal presentation with a warm, welcoming personality.
• Strong attention to detail.
