Job summary

HM Revenue & Customs is seeking two Commercial Analysts to manage SoW data, reporting and insight across the end-to-end lifecycle. You will develop dashboards, automate workflows and support decision-making for senior management, with a focus on value-for-money outcomes.

Role involves working across intake, triage, approvals and delivery stages, using Power BI, Excel and SharePoint, and driving improvements in governance and automation across the SoW lifecycle.

• Extensive data analysis and reporting capability, turning complex information into clear, meaningful insight.

Responsibilities

• Own SoW management information, reporting requirements and insight across intake, triage, approvals, delivery and assurance.
• Analyse complex data to identify trends, risks, bottlenecks, demand, performance issues and opportunities for savings or improvement.
• Define and shape dashboards, reporting structures and data views that provide clear, consistent and actionable insight.
• Develop and iteratively test advanced prototypes or proofs of concept using tools such as Power BI, Excel, Power Automate and SharePoint.
• Lead workflow and process improvement across the commercial SoW lifecycle, including intake and triage processes.
• Translate business needs into practical data, reporting and workflow requirements, collaborating with deployment teams.
• Investigate data quality issues and establish appropriate reporting controls and governance standards.
• Identify and shape automation and AI-enabled opportunities to reduce manual activity and improve user experience.
