Job summary

RWS is seeking a Lead Analyst to join its Data & Analytics team on a 6-month contract to design and build a comprehensive SaaS metrics dashboard. The role focuses on delivering actionable insights into product performance and customer behavior by aggregating data from Salesforce, ServiceNow, and internal platforms.

You will model data, create intuitive visualisations, and ensure data accuracy while collaborating with stakeholders to meet business needs.

Qualifications

• Proven experience building enterprise BI dashboards, preferably for SaaS products.
• Strong data visualization skills with Tableau/Power BI proficiency.
• Experience with data integration and ETL processes.
• Proficiency in SQL and data warehousing concepts.
• Ability to gather requirements, manage stakeholders, and drive a 6-month project.

An exciting opportunity to join an expanding Data and analytics team and contribute towards intelligence-led change and innovation.

The Lead Analyst will contribute to delivering an effective and high-quality Business Intelligence and Reporting service to Data & Analytics' stakeholders. The Lead Analyst will help the business to leverage the data to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and potential issues. They will be able to gather requirements, manage stakeholders and schedule data projects.

This role is for a contractor/Fixed Term engagement with a min duration of 6 months. The primary responsibility will be to design and build a comprehensive SaaS metrics dashboard to provide key insights into product performance and customer behavior.

Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy a robust and scalable SaaS metrics dashboard.
• Integrate data from various sources, including Salesforce, ServiceNow, and our internal SaaS platforms.
• Develop data models to support the required metrics and visualisations.
• Create intuitive and insightful visualisations for the specified KPIs.
• Ensure the dashboard is performant, reliable, and provides accurate data.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure the dashboard meets business needs.
• Provide documentation and training for the new dashboard.

Skills & Experience

• Proven experience in developing business intelligence dashboards, preferably in a SaaS environment.
• Strong expertise in data visualisation tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Experience with data integration and ETL processes.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with data warehousing concepts.
• Familiarity with CRM (e.g., Salesforce) and IT Service Management (e.g., ServiceNow) data.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage a project with a 6-month timeline.

Engagement Guidelines

• The contractor will be engaged for a set project duration of 6 months.
• The role can be performed remotely, but office attendance in Maidenhead would be preferred
• The contractor must adhere to RWS Group's policies on privacy, information security, and security incident management.
• The contractor will manage their own work to meet project deadlines.
