Job summary

SAP seeks a Sovereign Cloud Architect & Advisor to lead customers through secure, compliant cloud transformations and to define sovereign cloud strategies across hybrid/multi-cloud environments including SAP Cloud Infrastructure, AWS, Azure and GCP. You will collaborate with clients, partners and internal experts to design roadmaps that balance innovation with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Strong customer-facing communication and presentation skills capable of engaging executives, architects and technical stakeholders.
• Deep knowledge of SAP solutions, industry offerings, roadmaps, and dependencies.
• Expertise in cloud infrastructure and platform technologies (virtualization, compute, networking, storage, hybrid/multi-cloud).
• Hands-on experience with hyperscalers AWS, Azure, GCP and SAP Cloud Infrastructure, with relevant certifications valued.
• Extensive SAP technology background including HANA, S/4HANA, NetWeaver, OS/DB migrations, BTP, HANA Cloud, and TOGAF.

Working with customers, partners, and internal experts, you will:

• Build transformation roadmaps that guide customers from their current landscape to a future-ready cloud operating model.
• Architect trusted hybrid and multi-cloud solutions across platforms such as SAP Cloud Infrastructure, AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.
• Enable resilient and compliant environments that support business continuity, data sovereignty, and regulatory requirements.
• Create lasting customer relationships as a strategic advisor throughout their cloud transformation journey.

What You Bring

• Strong customer-facing communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage executives, architects, and technical stakeholders.
• Deep knowledge of SAP solutions, industry offerings, product roadmaps, and solution dependencies.
• Solid expertise in cloud infrastructure and platform technologies, including virtualization, compute, networking, storage, and hybrid/multi-cloud architectures.
• Hands-on experience with Hyperscaler such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and SAP Cloud Infrastructure (SCI); relevant certifications are highly valued.
• Extensive SAP technology background, including SAP HANA, SAP S/4HANA, SAP NetWeaver, OS/DB migrations, SAP BTP, HANA Cloud, AI and enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF.
• Understanding SAP BTP, integration architectures, cybersecurity, compliance, data privacy, and sovereign cloud principles; experience in regulated industries or the public sector is a plus.
• 10+ years of customer-facing SAP consulting experience and 8+ years in enterprise architecture, solution design, or SAP implementation, with exposure to pre-sales, service delivery, ITSM, and SAP operations.
