Job summary

OmniSolar UK is seeking a Southern Region Business Development Manager to drive sales and expand market reach across the southern UK. The role involves meeting commercial clients, public sector bodies, and residential partners, with end-to-end pipeline management from lead to closing.

Based on a full-time, on-site basis, you will collaborate with engineering and operations teams to ensure accurate specs, timely delivery and high customer satisfaction, while representing OmniSolar UK at industry

Qualifications

• Proven B2B sales and business development experience.
• Excellent client relationship management and stakeholder engagement.
• Ability to prospect, qualify leads, manage pipeline, and close deals to meet targets.
• Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Familiarity with southern UK markets and public sector / infrastructure projects.
• Ability to interpret technical specs and work with engineering teams.
• Self-motivated, organized, and able to work on-site and in the field.
• Proficient with CRM systems and standard office software.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales growth and market expansion for solar lighting solutions.
• Prospecting and lead generation, client meetings and site visits.
• Prepare proposals and quotations, manage sales pipeline from contact to close.
• Collaborate with technical and operations teams to ensure accurate specifications and timely delivery.
• Participate in industry events, presentations, and networking to enhance OmniSolar’s presence.
