Job summary

National Highways is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join the Operations Directorate in the South West, based in Bristol or Exeter. You will support the delivery of a portfolio of projects, oversee external contractors and consultants, and ensure governance, quality assurance, and health and safety across the supply chain.

You will work across the project lifecycle from design to service, report delivery performance, and develop solutions to resolve issues while maintaining strong

Qualifications

• Deliver projects across design to service with governance and QA.
• Collaborate with project teams, suppliers and contractors.
• Ensure health and safety compliance and NEC contract governance.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of complex projects across the Region.
• Maintain strong relationships with Project Managers, stakeholders and suppliers.
• Comply with QMS for quality, cost and time targets.
• Assist programme, budget, and risk management for all in scope projects.
• Review project plans with delivery partners and manage stakeholder expectations.
