ALS Recruiting Ltd is partnering with a global logistics provider to appoint a Business Development Manager focused on the South region. You’ll drive growth in road freight, warehousing, and value-added services, building strategic relationships with key clients across SMEs to large enterprises.

The role suits a proactive hunter with strong negotiation skills, willing to travel across the South West and surrounding areas to win new business and shape end-to-end transport solutions.

Qualifications

• Must have previous experience in Freight OR Logistics.
• Proven success in B2B sales within logistics, freight, or supply chain sectors.
• Self-starter with hunter mentality and a passion for delivering value to clients.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the region.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a regional sales strategy to win new business across freight forwarding, warehousing, and supply chain services.
• Identify and engage prospective clients across key industries in the South West, including manufacturing, retail, and e-commerce.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels, from SMEs to large enterprises.
• Collaborate with internal operations, customs, and commercial teams to deliver tailored, end-to-end solutions.
• Represent the company at regional networking events, trade shows, and industry forums.
• Maintain accurate CRM records and provide regular pipeline and performance updates.
