Job summary

JW Lees is recruiting a Sous Chef to join the talented kitchen team. You will lead the kitchen in the Head Chef’s absence, support with menu development and stock management, and mentor junior kitchen staff to ensure exceptional quality and service.

Qualifications

• Experience as a chef in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Strong understanding of food safety & HACCP basics.
• Ability to lead and train junior kitchen staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead the kitchen team in the Head Chef’s absence.
• Support with menu development and stock management.
• Provide guidance to junior kitchen staff members.
• Maintain high standards and 5* scores in dining experiences.
• Motivate the team to present fresh, quality dishes on every service.
• Play an integral role in the training and development of junior team members.
