Job summary

Mitchells & Butlers PLC is seeking a Sous Chef to lead the Navigation Inn - Harvester kitchen, driving excellence in food preparation and team leadership. You will step in for the Head Chef when needed and ensure daily operations align with brand standards.

You will manage ordering, prep and stock, train team members and uphold stringent health and hygiene guidelines, while contributing to a positive guest experience in a busy environment.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a kitchen team and delivering high‑quality dishes.
• Ability to train staff and uphold brand standards.
• Strong knowledge of health and hygiene regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate your kitchen team to meet targets.
• Train and inspire staff to deliver food they are proud of.
• Assist Head Chef with food ordering, prep and stock control.
• Manage Chefs and kitchen team within a branded menu.
• Ensure compliance with health and hygiene regulations.
