Job summary

Marston’s PLC is seeking a Sous Chef to join our kitchen team across our pubs. You’ll be right in the action, second in command to the Head Chef, and you’ll cover shifts when needed while ensuring hot, quality food is presented to the pass every service.

You’ll bring branded experience or strong Commis Chef background, help manage all aspects of the kitchen, run the line during service, and inspire the team to uphold the highest standards of food and guest service.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role or as a Commis Chef.
• Able to run the line during service.
• Experience in overseeing and developing kitchen staff.
• Passionate about maintaining high standards of food and service.

Responsibilities

• Be actively involved in kitchen operations and second in command to Head Chef.
• Assist Head Chef in managing all aspects of the kitchen.
• Take responsibility for running the line during service.
• Oversee, organise, and motivate the kitchen team to develop skills.
