Job summary

Peach Pubs is seeking a talented Sous Chef to join our welcoming gastro pub team. You’ll work directly with the Head Chef, lead day‑to‑day kitchen operations and mentor junior chefs while ensuring every dish leaves the pass to Peach standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced fresh-food kitchen.
• Ability to lead and motivate a kitchen team.
• Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene and waste management.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the Head Chef in leading the kitchen day to day and stepping up in their absence
• Helping run smooth, well-organised services while keeping quality, pace and presentation high
• Preparing, cooking and presenting fresh dishes to Peach standards
• Coaching, supporting and developing Chef de Parties, Commis Chefs and kitchen team members
• Keeping prep, stock, ordering, wastage and kitchen organisation under control
• Contributing ideas for specials and seasonal dishes using fresh, quality ingredients
• Maintaining excellent standards of food safety, hygiene, stock rotation and kitchen safety
• Working closely with the kitchen and front-of-house teams to deliver consistent dishes guests want to come back for
