Job summary

Peach Pubs in West Oxfordshire is seeking a talented Sous Chef to join our kitchen leadership. You’ll work closely with the Head Chef, lead busy services, and ensure every dish leaves the pass to Peach standards.

We value passion for fresh food and proper pub classics, along with coaching and developing a kitchen team. This role offers a supportive environment, opportunities to grow, and a chance to shape a confident, happy kitchen.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in a fast-paced fresh-food kitchen.
• Experience coaching junior chefs and kitchen staff.
• Passion for high standards in service and presentation.

Responsibilities

• Support the Head Chef in leading the kitchen day to day and stand in when needed.
• Run busy services with quality, pace and presentation at Peach standards.
• Prepare, cook and present fresh dishes to Peach standards.
• Coach and develop Chef de Parties and junior kitchen team members.
• Manage prep, stock, wastage and kitchen organisation.
• Contribute ideas for specials using fresh, quality ingredients.
