Job summary

Inn Collection Group’s The Ripon Inn in Ripon is seeking a dedicated Sous Chef to join a passionate kitchen team. You’ll work closely with the Head Chef to maintain high standards, quality, and consistency across all dishes, while contributing to menu development and costing.

Expect fast-paced shifts, strong collaboration with front-of-house, and a focus on delivering excellent guest experiences in a historic Edwardian setting.

Responsibilities

• As Sous Chef, you’ll be at the heart of our kitchen, ensuring every dish showcases the best of fresh, quality ingredients and reflects high standards.
• From managing a talented team to contributing to menu development and costing, you’ll help shape the guest experience and collaborate with kitchen, front-of-house, and management teams.
• Stock control, ordering from nominated suppliers, and overseeing kitchen cleanliness are part of your daily operations, including taking charge in the Head Chef’s absence.
