Job summary

The Plough & Harrow in Malvern, part of Brunning and Price, is seeking a talented Sous Chef to join our kitchen leadership team as a stepping stone to Head Chef. You will work closely with the Head Chef to maintain high standards and drive the food culture in a busy pub environment.

You will help run the kitchen, lead a small team during service, and contribute to menu development while enjoying a benefits package including a base salary up to £35,000, bonus up to £1,500, paid overtime, free

Qualifications

• Previous experience in catering and hospitality at junior sous, sous or kitchen manager level.
• Ability to lead a team and work alongside Head Chef to drive food culture.

Responsibilities

• Run the kitchen in busy service with the Head Chef.
• Develop and implement new dishes and menus.
• Motivate and manage kitchen staff to exceed guest expectations.
