Job summary

The Half Moon, a traditional country pub in Windlesham, Surrey, seeks an experienced Sous Chef or Senior CDP ready for the next step. You will lead a small kitchen team, contribute to menu development, and deliver quality, fresh dishes in a welcoming environment.

You will collaborate with the Head Chef, plan and manage kitchen operations, and help drive sales while maintaining high health and safety standards. Live-in options may be available.

Qualifications

• Looking for an existing Sous Chef or Senior CDP aiming for the next step.
• Natural leader with a passion and flair for producing quality fresh food in a welcoming environment.
• Demonstrates a proactive hands-on approach with excellent communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead kitchen operations and ensure quality food.
• Manage the kitchen staff rota, training and health and safety.
• Help design and deliver new dishes for menus and daily specials.
• Demonstrate planning and organisational skills to control GP and labour.
• Drive sales and growth through engagement with kitchen and front of house teams.
