Job summary

Oakland Care in Hildenborough is seeking a passionate Sous Chef to support the Head Chef in a fast-paced, state‑of‑the‑art kitchen. You will help deliver dishes of the highest standard and ensure every resident enjoys an exceptional dining experience.

Qualifications

• Two years catering experience minimum.
• Strong communication skills.
• Awareness of relevant food regulations and standards.

Responsibilities

• Delivering an excellent food service at all times.
• Following care and support plans to meet nutritional needs.
• Preparing nutritious snacks as requested by management.
• Ensuring high‑quality, flavoursome and well presented meals.
• Collaborating with the Head Chef to maintain smooth kitchen operations.
• Managing stock control, including ordering and replenishment.
