Job summary

The Athenaeum, a luxury hotel overlooking Green Park in central London, invites applications to join our kitchen as Sous Chef. With a strong emphasis on fresh food, artistry in plating and exploratory menus, you will lead a talented team and help deliver memorable dining experiences for our guests.

You will bring proven Sous Chef experience in busy restaurants, mentor junior chefs, oversee ordering and cost awareness, and maintain high standards of Food Safety, HACCP and health & safety.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Sous Chef in busy fresh-food restaurants.
• Strong plating aesthetics and a passion for exploratory menus.
• Training in Food Safety, Health & Safety and HACCP.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a close-knit team of Chefs.
• Oversee ordering and cost awareness.
• Manage shifts across 5/7 days.
