wagamama in Poole is seeking a dedicated sous chef to lead kitchen shifts and uphold our standards of fresh, made-to-order meals. You’ll supervise the team, coach peers, and ensure a vibrant, high-energy kitchen environment with a focus on quality and consistency.

You’ll champion food safety, manage stock and costs, and nurture staff development while delivering bold, flavoursome dishes that align with our brand.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience in a busy kitchen.
• Experience managing line and shifts.
• Knowledge of health and safety standards in a professional kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Lead kitchen shifts and ensure high standards across dishes.
• Coach and develop the kitchen team to improve performance.
• Monitor stock, GP, and labour costs; drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with management to run a vibrant, high-performing kitchen.
• Promote a Kaizen mindset to improve processes and efficiency.
