Job summary

Pho Canterbury is seeking a skilled Sous Chef to join our busy kitchen. You will be hands-on, supporting the Head Chef and mentoring wok, line and salad chefs to deliver vibrant, flavoursome dishes across our Pho menu in Canterbury.

Qualifications

• Hands on chefs passionate about cooking fresh, vibrant and flavoursome food.
• Minimum 1 year in role as Sous/Second Chef.
• Experience being second in command and mentoring wok staff, lines staff and salad staff.
• Strong knowledge of food safety and health and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Support Head Chef with managerial duties.
• Mentor wok chefs, line chefs and salad chefs.
• Ensure high standards of food safety and regulatory compliance.
