Job summary

THE PIG-in the South Downs, Madehurst is seeking a Sous Chef to join a fast-paced, energetic kitchen where every dish reflects modern British cuisine and sustainable sourcing. You will support the Head Chef, oversee one of four sections, and contribute fresh ideas to the menu while maintaining high standards of health and safety.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a similar role is necessary.
Knowledge of all areas of the kitchen is essential.
Passion for modern British food and sustainability.

Responsibilities

Assist the Head Chef in running the kitchen and manage one of the four sections.
Provide new ideas for the menu and contribute to menu development.
Manage health and safety, ordering and rotas for the section.
