Convene Hospitality Group in Manchester is seeking a Sous Chef for Live Meeting & Events on a Monday-Friday 40-hour week. You will work under the Head Chef to deliver high standards across events and catering for corporate clients.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Ensure prompt service of all meals to delegates and maintain high catering standards
• Prepare and present food under Head Chef guidance and be available at service times
• Assist in planning and costing menus and ensure compliance with standards
• Lead and train back-of-house kitchen staff; manage weekly rotas and timesheets
• Coordinate with events team to support upcoming functions and maintain budget controls
• Conduct daily quality checks and ensure stock rotation and purchasing records are maintained
• Support front-of-house teams to ensure exceptional guest service during events
