Job description

Job Title: Sous Chef

The Sous Chef role is primarily Monday to Friday, with a few evening shifts, offering a great opportunity to join our team.

At 116 Pall Mall, you will need to be adaptable as the venue is diverse, hosting multiple events across several floors. You will support the Executive and Head Chef in managing daily operations and lead and mentor junior staff to deliver high-end events and exceptional cuisine.

Salary

£44,500 package

Contract
  • 45 hours per week
  • Monday to Friday, with occasional weekends
Responsibilities
  • Provide high-standard food and service, assisting senior chefs with various functions across the business.
  • Manage the kitchen team in the absence of the Executive/Head Chef.
  • Assist in training junior staff.
  • Coordinate with team members to plan food provision across all areas.
  • Place orders directly with suppliers.
  • Ensure smooth daily operations, maintaining the agreed menu without disruption.
  • Manage stock levels, including ordering and waste control.
  • Ensure food presentation aligns with the standards set by senior chefs.
Qualifications
  • Passion for delivering high-quality food and excellent team leadership.
  • Strong kitchen management skills and brand ambassador qualities.
  • Innovative culinary ideas for events and menus.
