Job summary

Hastings Hotels is seeking a reliable kitchen professional for its Everglades Hotel in Northern Ireland. You will join a talented team, reporting to the Head Chef, and contribute to maintaining Hastings’ high standards of food quality and presentation.

The role is full time, with a 45-hour week spread over five shifts out of seven, including weekends, with typical shifts 12pm–10pm and a salary of £35,000 per annum.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Food Preparation and Cooking.
• Current Food Hygiene Certificate required.
• Right to Work in the United Kingdom; sponsorship may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Assist Head Chef in managing kitchen operations to Hastings standards.
• Oversee planning, preparation, cooking and presentation of food to hotel standards.
• Support budget and kitchen expenditure controls.
• Ensure compliance with food hygiene laws and 5* hygiene score targets.
• Train and develop kitchen staff and maintain equipment and cleanliness.
