Job summary

Fuller’s in the United Kingdom is seeking a dedicated Sous Chef to deputise for the Head Chef, taking full control of the kitchen when they are away.

You will create fresh dishes from seasonal, local ingredients, bring new ideas to the team, and motivate staff to deliver outstanding service. A strong emphasis on hygiene and food safety will underpin daily operations across our pubs and hotels.

Qualifications

• Hygiene qualification and strong knowledge of food safety practices.
• Ability to plan and implement seasonal menus.
• Proven leadership experience in a fast-paced kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Deputise for Head Chef and take full control of the kitchen when they are away.
• Prepare fresh dishes from seasonal, locally sourced ingredients.
• Bring ideas to the kitchen team and enhance dish quality across services.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene and food safety at all times.
