Job summary

Marston’s is seeking a Sous Chef to join our award-winning local pub team. You’ll be right in the action, second in command to the Head Chef, and you’ll cover shifts when needed to keep service seamless. You will support the Head Chef in managing all aspects of the kitchen and lead the team to deliver exceptional food and service.

Qualifications

• Experience as Sous Chef or Commis Chef in branded kitchens.
• Ability to assist Head Chef and manage kitchen operations.
• Capable of leading the kitchen team and maintaining high standards.

Responsibilities

• Be second in command to Head Chef and cover them on shifts.
• Assist Head Chef in managing all aspects of the kitchen.
• Run the line during service and uphold high standards of food and service.
• Oversee and develop the kitchen team, helping to grow their skills.
• Maintain the highest standards of food quality and guest service.
